Podcaster on iPhone Reborn
January 27th, 2009It’s true. Apple has relented after Podcaster was resubmitted with a different name (RSSPlayer) and had the storage area component removed.
This is brilliant news if you’re a Podcast junkie like me. No more having no Podcasts just because I forgot to sync up at the weekend. I’m stoked.

EDIT: well, actually this turned out really dissappointing. The player is remedial at best with nothing but a pause button to see you through the trials of listening to a podcast - woah betide anyone who wants to start listening to one halfway through. Also, it only streams. It never saves the files anywhere so once you jump out of the app, that’s it. And if you go through a tunnel, it’s all over.
Frankly, I expected more from this. Let’s see what they do in the future.
